Crime and Disorder
PC Miller updated Councillors on various issues within Hothfield:-
Mr Nash has obtained an injunction for the Old Kings Head and is going to instruct an
contractor to erect a fence around the car park. He is putting up a notice informing the public
that anything on the area will be removed and disposed of. Mr Wallace warned that there
may be an entrance to the area from the rear of the property.
The golf buggy is still in police custody.
PC Miller has given a People’s Lottery Application Pack to Mrs Whittington for her to fill
in on behalf of the Parish. This is in relation to a competition for £50,000 to be used as
the winner wishes. Having spoken to some of the youngsters, it would appear that they
would like a BMX Stunt Area.
Ms Marshall from the Kent Messenger Group is coming to Hothfield on 15 April to do a
report on Hothfield. PC Miller has arranged for her to meet various people from the village.
He invited anyone to attend who would like to speak to her.
It is hoped that the initiative with members of Charlton Athletic Football Club can be revived.
Village Appraisal
A draft copy of the questionnaire will be sent to Councillors for their comments.
It would appear that this will not, after all, work in tandem with the Housing Survey being undertaken by ABC.
Bus Shelter
Nothing to report.

Deferred until we have a full Council.

Mrs Warren reported that the members of the Police Forum were very pleased to welcome
