1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE An Apology for Absence was received from Mrs J Colby (work commitment) and Mr P Eckersley (illness).
2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST There were no Declarations of Interest.
i) Updating of Declarations of Interest for the Code of Conduct Councillors are reminded that they should update their Declarations of Interest with the Monitoring Officer if necessary. 3. PUBLIC INTERVAL The meeting was opened to Members of the Public from 7.00 – 8.45 for questions and comment.
Mr Rickards updated those present on the work being undertaken on Hothfield Heathlands.
Mr Robey reported on the current situation regarding the public toilets.
4. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Minutes 104 were accepted and it was unanimously agreed that Mr Krause should sign them as a true record of the meeting.

5. MATTERS FOR REPORT ARISING FROM THE PREVIOUS MINUTES An email has been received from Mr Clarkson, Deputy Leader of ABC, asking that the comments made at the October meeting, regarding housing on the Triangle be corrected as ABC has no plans to develop the Triangle.
Mrs Turner reported that she and Mr Patel had met with the staff at the Bluebell Centre and the Head Teacher of Charing School and that Mrs Parker was going to put in a proposal as to how future funding could be spent.

Storage of Parish Council Documents Deferred until we have a permanent venue for meetings.
Future of Public Toilets Nothing to report.
New Zebra Crossing – School Road The plans for the Zebra Crossing have been drawn up by KCC. Some members of the parish are concerned that it will represent a safety hazard if cars are allowed to continue to park on School Road. 7. FINANCE Accounts paid during December
Resolution: Councillors unanimously cheques being drawn during December.

Budget and confirmation of Precept 2012-2013 Mr Krause reported that the Finance and Working Party had not prepared the budget. They will do so in time for the next meeting.
The Clerk confirmed that she had requested £9500.00 from ABC for the forthcoming year.
She had also applied for the Concurrent Functions Grant of £610.00.
The total amount requested from ABC for 2012 – 2013 is £10110.00.
8. PLANNING Please see attached list.
9. FORUM FOR EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION BETWEEEN COUNCILLORS Mr Krause is meeting with a representative from KHS to discuss ways of financing double yellow lines around the village.
Mrs Sutcliffe and Mr Howard will send details of the Garden Competition to Mr Grenfell Banks to be included in the Hothfield Newsletter. There being no further business the meeting closed at 9.10 pm. HOTHFIELD PARISH COUNCIL
